In this episode of Creative Iterations, we dive deep into the world of Web3 where art, technology, and creative economy collide. Co-hosts Kim Tignor and Hollis Wong-Wear are joined by Latashá, a multi-disciplinary artist and genre-defying sonic world builder, and Sian Morson, a collector and advocate in the inclusive Web3 community space who founded The BlkChain in 2021. We learn more about Web3, blockchain and cryptocurrency and how it connects with a movement for greater agency and sovereignty for creators of color, and Latashá and Sian’s own journeys navigating the volatility and culture shifts within Web3. Together, Latashá and Sian explore how the Web3 space can provide creators with more control, access, and equity in the rapidly evolving creative economy – but not without its challenges.
