The Resilient Working Mum
Podcast Description:
Are you stressed out by trying to find time to fit it all in? Do you wish that you could be more present with your children? Desperate for time to think about what you need but don’t ever get there? Financial pressure keeping you stuck in this cycle?
I am thrilled that you are here! This is the podcast for mums who are managing it all. Overcome the overwhelm so that you can be more present at work and at home. Learn healthy habits that will boost your productivity and decrease your stress so that you can balance a job you love and a family you love even more.
Hey, I’m Charlotte - a personal trainer, wellbeing coach, mum and a wife who works because I love my job. I was living the chaotic, distracted life of working a full day, while also managing the emotional and mental load of being a mum - trying to make sure that everyone’s needs were met, while forgetting about my own.
I was tired of feeling guilty for having a job I love knowing that it took emotional energy away from my family. I finally realised that if I was going to enjoy my work and my journey of motherhood, I needed to set boundaries and make choices that would make me feel more in control, healthier and happier so that I could be the coach and the mum I wanted to be. I created a plan that fits ME. A way of being that allows me to focus better, be present and enjoy the moment while also finding time for me in amongst the noise. And I am ready to share it with you!
If you’re ready to feel less stressed, be more organized and productive at work so you can be more present at home and in the relationships that are most dear to you, then this podcast is for you!
So, put away your laptop, close the bathroom door and let’s dig in!

The Resilient Working Mum
A podcast for high-performing working mothers – and the organisations that rely on them – navigating pressure, performance, and the invisible load of modern work and life.
You might look like you’re coping on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, reactive, or constantly “on call” behind the scenes. This is where we make sense of that experience and change it.
The focus of this podcast is on the internal patterns shaping how you think, respond, and show up at work and at home.
I’m Charlotte Haggie, resilience specialist, coach, and working mum. I help high-achieving women build the capacity to stay steady under pressure so that they can think clearly, lead effectively, and be present in the moments that matter.
Inside this podcast, we move beyond surface-level solutions like time-management and organisation.
You’ll learn how to:
• stay focused and make clear decisions under pressure
• respond with intention
• build self-trust and emotional stability
• reduce the mental load that drains your energy
• sustain high performance over time
For leaders and organisations, these conversations offer insight into the drivers of burnout, disengagement, and retention risk in high-performing women, along with a clearer understanding of what supports long-term performance and wellbeing.
This is about developing the capacity to handle complexity, pressure, and responsibility with clarity, steadiness, and control.
Do you ever find yourself replaying a conversation long after it is over, wondering whether you said the right thing, worrying about how someone interpreted your email or imagining what other people might be thinking about you?
If so, you are not alone.
So many women spend an enormous amount of mental energy editing themselves, monitoring other people’s reactions to them, anticipating their judgment and trying to manage the opinions of others that they can’t actually control!
Because this work all goes on in the background of our minds, we do not recognise just how much attention, emotional energy and resilience it consumes.
In this episode, we explore one of the most exhausting habits that often goes unnoticed in our lives and which robs us of so much: living in other people’s heads instead of our own.
We talk about why our brains naturally pay attention to approval and belonging, how overthinking and people-pleasing can quietly drain your capacity and why resilient women learn to place their attention somewhere far more helpful.
If you feel mentally exhausted despite ticking off all the things on your to-do list, this episode will help you understand why and introduce a practical way to reclaim your focus, energy, and peace.
Resilience isn’t something you’re born with. It’s a skillset you can build.
