Episode Summary:

It’s no secret that our emotions are powerful drivers of our actions and behaviors. Even those we regret… Do you ever wonder where emotions come from? Why do we react to our environment and circumstances as we do? For years, I tried to get answers to questions like these, questions you might be asking yourself right now… Why does one person experience severe anxiety while another person feels calm and centered in similar circumstances? Why do some people suffer lifelong depression regardless of how well their lives are going and others seem to always be happy come what may? Why do some smart children and adults have trouble focusing and getting even simple tasks done while others focus without any effort? Why are some people prone to addictions — such as smoking, drinking, and gambling — while others either have no interest in these activities or if they do engage in them, they don’t get addicted?

After years of research and study, I found the answers to those and many other questions about why we are the way we are. And I’m thrilled to be able to share them with you! Research into understanding human genetics now proves that our unique genetic design can have a significant effect on our emotional states.
